Hitachi announces 1TB HDD for shipping in the first quarter of 2007. See this link to a PC World article, and that other one to the Hitachi website. Let's wait for the answer from Western Digital and Seagate...

Thats, really amazing sure kicks my 100GB hard drive down...
i read last week that new 32GB 1.8 hard drive would be available at end 2007 for 100$ (now, they are about 500~600$).
amazing ! thinking about my old PC 486 16Mo RAM ; i was so proud ;-)

rectification: j'en ai peut-etre deja entendu parler. Il s'agit de disques hybrides ave flash memory n'est-ce pas? J'ai du lire que ce type de HDD serait reserve a des disques de petite taille, mais qu'ils sont tres rapides.
