AVG anti-spyware

As promised, here's a new post about AVG anti-spyware. AVG by acquiring it from Ewido made out of it one of the best anti-spyware on the market, which was not the case before. The interface has changed, the software is being updated sometimes more than 2 times a day. Though the software is not free, what remains from it after the trial period of 30 days is impressive:

* manual update remains possible ( you'll get up to 3 updates a day)
* custom scans
* all scan settings, including attached malware, archives, heuristic analysis, compressed executables, NTFS alternate data stream, dialers and more...
* the ability to generate reports, to quarantine malware
* a comprehensive analysis panel including processes, connections ( with the ability to terminate any), autostart items, browser plugins, and LSP viewer.
* a tools tab when you'll find miscellaneous entries to enable or disable some windows security related settings.

Now if you want to go for the commercial version, you will get an auto-update feature, a resident shield, and a scheduler for custom scans. You can test these features during the trial period of course.
