comodo firewall 2.4 ( the end?)

bad news for cfp 2.4, the 100% cpu load on cmdagent.exe happens again, 5 days after the installation. It does not really matter, there's CoreForce as alternative, and cfp 3.0 in two or three months. Funny thing is that cpu load always happens a few days after the installation of a new version. In the meantime back to old windows firewall, the best one, ever (lol).

Ahahahaha; LOL.
Windows firewall, best desktop firewall ever made. You are one the right way to hell.

This afternoon, i was working with a PC (not mine) in a customer company. I had to use ftp in a shell window.

I don't if you'll believe it but the alert about ftp appears after the file was send ! Nothing was blocked.

Look at CORE FORCE instead.

sorry to disappoint you Alg, but if you read my post carefully you would have seen that I was actually joking concerning windows firewall.
About you FTP story, I read a similar one in the comodo forum, many weeks ago. that was about a guy complaining that cpf 2.3 did not block anything after a ftp download.
Everyone at Comodo spoke about a major bug. Don't know if it's been resolved cause I rarely download from ftp sites.

sorry I should have said before the ftp download started, no alert from comodo 2.3. Nothing after either by the way (lol). I could reproduce that with the same site. Same results.

The cpu bug is related to dll injection. If you turn it off, CPU is 0.
Cheers

thanks for your comment "anonymous"! Strange that I find here now a new comment on the cpu bug (lol), as I posted something about it in the Comodo forum yesterday night. That was my last post btw, as I deleted my account in this forum this morning, for various reasons.
(of course the cpu bug disappears when you turn off the dll management stuff, but then the firewall is useless)
